The Cuisine

Menu is signed by Giuseppe Ricchebuono. A chef who, after the conquer of a Michelin star in his “Vescovado” restaurant at Noli (Liguria region), is ready for a new bet and to present his personal kitchen philosophy.

At Sambuco restaurant, chefs are Matteo Dimoro and Alberto Moretti.

Naturally elegant and gourmet

Giuseppe Ricchebuono is starred chef of Vescovado restaurant in Noli (Liguria). Menù of “Il Sambuco” restaurant has his signature. Born in 1965 in Vado Ligure, he makes his debut in restaurant world in 1992 with “La furnace di Barbablù”.

Experience drive him through research and reinterpretation of typical products, together with a meticolous attention to esthetical presentation of dishes. He earned his first Michelin Star in 2001.
His cuisine is composed by raw and excellent materials, which become gastronomic masterpieces.

Il Sambuco dishes vary from land to sea, by presenting on the table a hudge variety of local products, in many case niches products. Semplicity and genuinity walk together with an extremely refinement and creativity in each course.

Restaurant

Sambuco can host 30 seats.
For big events or ceremonies, is it possible to arrive to 60 (Covid restrictions) or 100 people (in a no Covid scenary).

Halls

Halls offer three different atmospheres, three degrees of privacy for guests and three different degrees of openness to the outside nature.

In these spaces the gaze sweeps into glimpses, stained glass windows and mirrors to reflect and bring inside all the nature outside. For each table, a specific chandelier, a special point of light for an exclusive experience.

The Cellar

An ancient barrel vault cellar, for storing wines and suggestive tasting room. Soul and hidden heart of this restored inn.
